The Mandated Cost

Tariff revision announced vides TCB/DG/20(b)/1593 dated 14th April 2010 with the following amendments will be as follows:

Revised Tour price for the year 2012
• Daily Tariff High tourist season: US $250 per person per night on twin sharing basis during the Month of March, April, May, September, October
• Daily Tariff low tourist season: US $ 200 per person per night on twin sharing basis during the month of January, February, June, July, August, December
• 10% of daily tariff as agent commission, which can be deducted at source
• FIT Surcharge for groups if 1 and 2 persons: US $ 40 and US $ 30 per person per night
• Visa fee: US $ 40 per person
• Tourism Development Fee: US $ 10 per person
• FOC tour leader: 15 Pax and above
• FOC tour leader: 30 Pax and above

Luxury Package
The Luxury package is based on 4 or 5 star categories with extra services in addition to the Govt. Fixed minimum tariff of US$250/person/Night

Extra activities – Cultural shows, guest speaker on specific topics, Buddhist Masters teachings and traditional Bhutanese weddings etc.

Rate under cutting prohibited

The Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) is responsible for all regulations and monitoring of all travel agents in Bhutan. Only upon receiving full payment, based on the mandated cost the visa is approved. Upon receiving your payment, we make a deposit to our account with the TCB, and the money is withheld by TCB until the trip is successfully taken place. It grantees safety of your payment and the services provided by us with integrity, experience and quality.

The price includes:
• All internal Taxes (10%) and service charges (10%)
• 35% Government royalty
• All accommodation in tourist A grade Hotel approved by the Tourism Council of Bhutan or as mentioned
• All meals, tea and coffee
• Service of professional and a licensed Bhutanese English speaking guide
• All internal transport airport transfers (Toyota or Hyundai SUVs for FIT, Toyota Haice Bus or Hyundai H1 for small groups and Toyota Coaster Bus for bigger groups)
• Complimentary mineral or bottled drinking water throughout the trip (inside car)
• All permits and museum entry fees throughout the trip

Does not include:
• Air fare
• Bar bills
• Laundry
• Travel insurance
• Other personal expenses

Cancellation Policy:
• No charge for the tour canceled before 30 days of arrival date
• 50% cancellation charge for the tour canceled before 20 days of arrival date
• No refund for less than 20 days of arrival date
Flights: Cancellation policies (documentation charge of US$ 20 for change of dates)
• 100% refund for cancellation made before 30 days of travel date
• 40% refund for cancellation made before 20 days of travel date
• NO refund for cancellation made less than 20 days of travel date

• With effect from 01/07/2009, the government has revoked the 25% discount on Diplomatic visas.
• There shall be no charge for CHILDREN up to the age of 5 years. However, those between the ages of 6-12 years accompanied by elders/ guardians shall be given 50% discount on daily rates.
• Full time STUDENTS below the age of 25 years holding valid identity cards from their academic institutions shall also be given a 25% discount on daily rates.
• A discount of 50% on daily rates shall be given to one person in a group of 11 to 15 people. 100% discount shall be given to one member in a group exceeding 16 persons.
• A discount of USD. 20 and USD. 15 shall be provided on Royalty from the 9th night during high season and low season respectively with effect from 01/07/2009.
• Visitors availing discounts under Sections A, B & C shall not be eligible for discount under E.

• 1 – 2 Pax we use Toyota or Hyundai SUVs
• 3 – 7 Pax we use Toyoto or Hyundai H1 bus
• 8 Pax and above, we use Toyota coaster bus

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner will be served in buffet

Tour Payment:
Once the trip is confirmed, payment must be made to confirm the trip. For the flight, we issue your tickets only when the payment is wired from your side. Bank transfer is the only mode of payment for Bhutan tour package.

Delayed Arrivals:
There is no charge for delays in arrival and departure because of weather conditions disrupting flights or roadblocks. The tourist must however bear the cost of food, accommodation, transportation, and other services required.
